The Center has the core technology of precision medicine: genome sequencing platform and bioinformatic analysis system, which can perform diagnosis for unknown disease, hereditary disease and cancer. In order to serve more patients, the Center has developed a clinical application grade genomic department, not only passed the American Clinical Pathology Laboratory (CAP) certification of College of American Pathologists (CAP), but also provide a patient-centered service- Precision Medicine Clinic. The whole exome genomic test is the core technology of the center. It can detect the salterations of over 20,000 protein-related genes. Since 85% of diseases are closely related to protein-related genes, this test can detect about 85% of the disease in human,  and it is the best test for diagnosis of unknown diseases. Combined with bioinformatics and biological study within the Center, it provides the most accurate results and effective treatment recommendations to clinicians.
