Yu-Chia Chen graduated from Graduate Institute of Medicine, College of medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University in 2016. The topic of her thesis is to investigate the mechanism and to develop therapeutic drugs of spinal muscular atrophy. Her research field includes mice model of SMA, alternative splicing, and small molecular drug screening. She was employed as the postdoctoral research fellow of Center for Precision Medicine, China Medical University Hospital. Now, Her research field includes long non-coding RNA, cancer, and molecular diagnosis of tuberculosis. She also keeps studying the mechanism and behavior change of spinal muscular atrophy.
