頸椎就是俗稱的脖子，它是由 7 個骨頭組成，頸椎內有脊髓及神經，是負責傳達大腦命令的重要管道，所以它受傷是很危險的，甚至可能致命。

頸椎受傷主要原因

交通事故
運動傷害（如：跳水）
用力轉脖子
外力撞擊及高處跌下

症狀

頸部疼痛
四肢酸麻無力；上肢肌肉無力
大小便失禁
嚴重時呼吸困難、休克，甚至死亡

通经常使用來檢查診斷頸椎受傷包括：X 光檢查、電腦斷層掃瞄、和核磁共振檢查。

治療

吃藥控制疼痛。
穿戴頸圈。
若無脊椎滑脫、骨折，可輔以復健治療。
若症狀未改善，且有椎間盤突出者，則考慮手術治療。
嚴重椎間盤突出合併脊髓壓迫者或有骨折及滑脫者，建議及早手術治療。

預防

保持正確姿勢。
遵守交通規則，並繫好安全帶。
避免危險性活動，如：飆車及跳水。
若已受傷病人，應確實戴好頸圈，直到痊癒為止。
